The G.O.A.L. Support GroupThe name of this group is an acronym for "Giving Obsessive-Compulsives Another Lifestyle." Open only to adults who suffer from OCD, the group meets every other Tuesday at 8 PM (please see the meeting details below). Its main objective is to assist its members in developing a discipline of self-help. Its atmosphere is one of compassion, not commiseration, and its manner is one of inspiration and encouragement, not coercion. Co-chaired by two recovering OCD sufferers with at least one therapist in attendance, each typical meeting is structured into three parts.
At times this structure will be replaced by a presentation from a professional guest speaker followed by a question-and-answer session and socializing with refreshments. If you think you have OCD and would like to attend the G.O.A.L. meetings, please first contact Dr. Jon Grayson at 215-735-7588 or email Dr. Grayson at drjg17@hotmail.com (E-Mail is preferred).
